Billing · Private beta

Billing and protection are separate.

What you pay for and what keeps you protected are two different systems. GuardianBlock is designed so a billing event never silently switches your protection on or off — your keyholder and the protection model decide that, not your card.

Private beta
The plan

One plan, billed monthly.

The private-beta plan is a single, simple subscription — no tiers and no add-ons to decode.

  1. 01

    CAD $10 per month

Billed monthly in Canadian dollars. One price for the whole product — there are no tiers or feature gates to compare.

  2. 02

    Cancel anytime

You can cancel your subscription whenever you want from your account. Cancelling stops future billing; it does not flip a switch on your device — more on that below.

  3. 03

    One plan, no tiers

Everyone in the private beta gets the same product. We don't split protection across paid levels or hold features back behind an upgrade.

Billing vs protection

Paying for GuardianBlock and being protected are not the same switch.

Billing tells us whether your subscription is active. Protection is governed by the keyholder model and the local Windows app. GuardianBlock is designed so billing state never directly activates or deactivates protection on a device.

  • Billing never silently unblocks a device

A change in your billing status doesn't reach into a device and quietly drop your protection. Turning protection off still goes through the supported, keyholder-accountable path — not a payment webhook.

  • Cancelling winds down with notice — not a sudden switch-off

If you cancel, your protection continues through the term you've already paid for. After that, the change is a noticed wind-down rather than a sudden switch-off the moment a payment stops.

  • A failed payment goes through grace, then a time-boxed Local Safety Mode

If a charge fails, GuardianBlock is designed to follow a dunning grace period with reminders. If it stays unpaid, the app is built to move into a time-boxed Local Safety Mode that keeps a baseline of protection in place — not to let a billing failure instantly toggle your protection.

  • The payer isn't automatically the partner

The person who pays isn't automatically your accountability partner or your security authority. Who holds the key, and who can authorize sensitive changes, is set by the keyholder model — not by whose card is on file.

More on the people side in what your partner can and can't see, and the common questions in the FAQ.
