Privacy · Both sides

Accountability without surveillance.

GuardianBlock puts an accountability partner between you and a relapse — not a camera over your shoulder. Here is exactly what your keyholder can see, what they can never see, and how your data is handled on both sides of the relationship.

What each side sees

Your partner holds the key — they don't watch you.

An accountability partner is a keyholder, not a monitor. The relationship only ever surfaces the signals you both opted into, and nothing about where you spend your time.

What your partner can see

Whether protection is healthy — on, offline, or needs attention.
Explicit exception requests you choose to send them — the site and your reason.
Tamper and accountability alerts: if protection is paused, removed, or interfered with.
Whether your protection is current, so they know it is still in place.

What your partner can never see

Your browsing history or the sites you visit.
Search queries, keystrokes, messages, or screenshots.
A feed of everywhere you go — there is no activity log to scroll.
Anything beyond the explicit requests and health signals you opted into.

The model is the same whether you are the protected adult or the partner: explicit requests and protection health, and nothing else.

How your data is handled

What we keep minimal, and what we never collect.

  1. 01

    No third-party tracking SDK

There is no third-party analytics or ad-tracking SDK on this site or in the app. We record only minimized, server-side operational events needed to run protection and accountability.

  2. 02

Reasons are minimized, not a feed

When you note a reason for a custom block, it is kept minimal and tied to that one decision. It is never turned into a browsing feed or a profile of your activity.

  3. 03

We never ask for your passwords

GuardianBlock never asks for your Windows administrator password, and never asks your keyholder for their account codes or secrets. Sensitive actions are authorized inside each person's own signed-in session.

  4. 04

    Leaving is protection-safe

You can leave. Deletion is designed to be protection-safe — it will not silently tear down active-protection integrity or the accountability record both people rely on. Ask your keyholder to release the key, then export or remove your account data.

Network-safe by design

Designed to leave your network alone.

GuardianBlock is designed not to alter your DNS, VPN, proxy, firewall, hosts file, routes, network adapters, SMB, mapped drives, or work-network settings. It protects the person who installs it — it is not built to monitor a household, an employer's network, or anyone who has not opted in.
