To block Stake.com, Bovada and Roobet, use each operator's account restriction. Block its website on your computer and set phone controls separately. For computer options, start with how to block gambling sites on Windows.
Which account tool should I use?
Start with the operator's own account tool. Check whether it excludes you from the whole account or just one product, and whether ordinary account closure is a separate option. Then use a website block for computer access and separate controls for the phone.
| Operator | Account tool | Product scope | Market note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stake.com | Account-wide self-exclusion | Full account, rather than one product; casino, sportsbook and poker | Own terms exclude the US, UK and Ontario, among other places |
| Bovada | Restriction requested through support | Bovada account; sportsbook, casino and poker services | Says it accepts US residents subject to listed jurisdiction restrictions |
| Roobet | Two-stage self-exclusion | Casino, sportsbook or whole-platform selection | Lists the US and UK among restricted regions |
Each entry comes from the operator's own pages, checked October 13, 2026, and links to its source. The market column gives the operator's rules for where you can use its services; it does not tell you whether the site is licensed or legal where you live.
How do I block Stake.com?
Stake's Self Exclusion help page says to open Stake Smart, choose Self Exclusion, select Request Self Exclusion, then Confirm Self Exclusion. This is account-wide self-exclusion. Stake calls the period indefinite, with a minimum of six months.
Stake's separate Product Exclusion guide explains how product-only and account-wide exclusion differ. Choose account-wide self-exclusion if you want to stop gambling across your Stake.com account. Its self-exclusion policy says to use chat or email if you cannot start the request. Stake's policy says you can still contact support while excluded.
Ordinary closure is separate. Stake's account-closure guide says to open Responsible Gambling, then Account Closure, choose a reason and confirm. Stake presents ordinary closure for reasons unrelated to problem gambling. For a gambling-related restriction, use self-exclusion.
For your computer block, use stake.com, the primary domain identified in Stake's own terms. Those terms prohibit use in the United States, United Kingdom and Ontario, among other jurisdictions. Finish your account request before adding the block. The help pages use a stake.com subdomain too.
Stake.us describes itself as a separate sweepstakes product; the account instructions above concern Stake.com.
How do I block Bovada?
Bovada's Self Exclusion page says to contact support and identify a gambling problem. Bovada describes that as permanent account disabling. Its close-or-disable-account FAQ links to Customer Service. Ask them to restrict your Bovada account and confirm what that covers. Wait for Customer Service to confirm your account restriction. The linked pages give no completion time or duration menu you can choose yourself.
Bovada's terms describe sportsbook, casino and poker services.
Use bovada.lv, the official domain of Bovada's account help page, for the computer block. Its restricted-jurisdiction FAQ says it accepts US residents subject to listed restrictions, including Michigan. On May 30, 2024, Michigan's regulator announced a cease-and-desist letter to Curaçao-based Harp Media B.V. over its unlicensed Bovada offering in Michigan.
How do I block Roobet?
Complete both steps. Roobet's dedicated Self-Exclusion guide says to start the required 24-hour cooldown, then complete the second self-exclusion step after it finishes. Starting the cooldown does not complete your self-exclusion. Check the second-stage summary before you confirm.
Roobet's responsible-gaming policy says to open your account's Responsible Gambling tab. You can choose casino, sportsbook or whole-platform exclusion. For the whole account, choose whole-platform and check the summary before you confirm. The policy and help page describe the fixed exclusion periods differently. Both include an option labelled permanent. Check the choices shown in your account.
Roobet's terms identify roobet.com as its primary domain. Use that domain for your computer block. Its restricted-regions help page lists the United States and United Kingdom among restricted regions. The separate account-deletion article explains how to request account deletion through support.
How do I block crypto casinos?
Check each operator's own instructions. These three sites use a settings path, a support request and a two-step process. A payment label does not tell you which account tool is available or which products it covers.
- Find the site's own self-exclusion or account-closure instructions. Check whether the request covers your whole account or one product.
- Complete the request and keep the confirmation.
- Add the operator's primary official website domain to your computer block. Set separate controls for the website and any installed app on your phone.
If you also use licensed sportsbooks, see the separate DraftKings, FanDuel and sportsbook blocking guide. It covers their account tools and jurisdiction-wide self-exclusion programs.
How to block these sites on a Windows PC
Compare free filters, browser extensions and dedicated blocking software in how to block gambling sites on Windows.
GuardianBlock for Windows will be available soon. You can add stake.com, bovada.lv or roobet.com as your own Custom Block. Check the preview before you confirm. By default, the block covers the registrable domain and its subdomains. Adding a block does not need approval. You need keyholder approval for pausing or removing one. Your keyholder uses their own account for that decision.
GuardianBlock runs on an eligible personal, unmanaged Windows 11 Home or Pro x64 PC. It supports Chrome, Edge and Firefox; read the browser-support boundaries. It does not cover phones or other devices. Read the limitations before relying on that scope. GuardianBlock is not treatment or crisis support.
How do I block the apps on my phone?
On your phone, choose the control for what you use: a casino website or an installed app. Set website and app controls separately.
For an iPhone, Apple's iOS 26 guide explains these steps: open Settings, then Screen Time, and turn on Content & Privacy Restrictions. Open App Store, Media, Web, & Games, then Web Content. Choose Limit Adult Websites. Add each official website URL under Never Allow. Add the casino sites yourself; do not rely on the adult-content filter to include them. These steps are for iOS 26. Menus can differ on other versions.
For an installed app, Apple's app-limits guide explains daily App Limits for individual apps. A Screen Time passcode and Block at Downtime can enforce scheduled downtime. These are separate from website entries. The same website-control guide also explains store-download restrictions. For the fuller iPhone walkthrough, see how to block gambling apps on an iPhone.
On supported Android phones, Google's Digital Wellbeing guide says to open Settings, Digital Wellbeing, then App timers for apps. You can also set site timers in Chrome. Select the app or site and set its daily timer; these controls vary by phone. Some phones also let you set an App limits PIN. Do not assume it locks website timers too. App timers reset daily at midnight. Chrome site timers set daily limits.
Google Play's help page says content restrictions filter downloads and purchases by maturity rating on the device where you set them. They have limits for apps you have already downloaded. Use them for Play Store downloads, not website or account restrictions. Set these controls on your own device.
Can a bank gambling block cover crypto casinos?
Ask your bank what its gambling block covers. Monzo's gambling-support page says its gambling block is not designed to block crypto purchases. That is Monzo's UK policy. Check your own bank's rules. For Canadian options and their limits, see the Canadian bank gambling-block guide.
What a site block does not cover
- A website block does not close your account, settle open bets or withdraw your balance. Read the operator's account instructions for those questions.
- Your computer block does not reach your phone or another device. Set controls separately for each device, and check which browsers and apps they cover.
- Make separate requests with other operators. Check whether the restriction you choose covers one product or your whole account.
- When an operator says indefinite or permanent, it describes its account policy. No site block here is permanent or complete. No tool here promises that you will stop gambling.
Quick answers
How do I block myself from Bovada? Bovada's published policy says to tell support if your request concerns a gambling problem. Use the Customer Service route to ask for your Bovada account restriction.
Is starting Roobet's cooldown enough? No. Roobet's published guide requires a second self-exclusion step after the 24-hour cooldown. Check the scope and finish that second step.
Can I permanently block a crypto casino website? No. An operator's exclusion period applies to your account. Your computer block is a separate control.
Does blocking the website close my account? No. Make the account request with the operator separately and keep its confirmation. The website block affects access on that computer.
